Looking up the NKJV it says "that He might sanctify and cleanse her..." and the Amplified says, "that He might sanctify her and having cleansed her.." Now, in both versions do you see that it is an accomplished thing? It speaks of a process and it is being done continually "by the washing of water with the Word". The goal of sanctification will be to present a glorious church without spot and wrinkle. Is this an accomplished thing as you suggest? Do you agree now to correct your wrong thinking?
