You see there are 2 things here. The Church is ALREADY cleansed. It is BEING sanctified. Do you know the difference? CLEANSED: is from the SIN. SANCTIFICATION: To be like Jesus. It is the process. We shall never be like Jesus until we are in heaven, away from the decaying body as well. It is not that we will have a perfect church on earth. What this verse is saying is that AFTER it(the church, which is all the Christians ) has been cleansed from SIN, now we are BEING sanctified, to be more like Christ. It does not talk about restoring of a perfect church. Nor is there any mention of restoration of a 5 fold ministry here. Now, are you ready to change the way you think ? BTW: How come you did not agree that your statements in your previous posts were wrongly interpreted by you ? It is OK to agree that you are wrong you know.....that is a sign of a true learning believer...... -JD You still haven't answered my previous question as to why Jesus said "Luke 18:8 - I tell you, he will vindicate them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, will he find faith on earth?"
