So, are you saying Christ died for those who will end up in hell also, because of thier faith ?
Isn't God punishing one sin with 2 punishments then ? Say if a non believer sins by killing someone, and you say that Christ already paid the penalty due the sin on the cross but it is not applied due to lack of faith ...So Christ underwent the pains once and the guy will also undergo pain in hell for thet sin... It doesn't sound right........does it ? OK, I think this is a complex question with a complex answer. In any case, let me ask you one more question that is related..... Did Christ die for ALL my sins ? Is unbelief a sin ? If so did He die for my unbelief? If He did die for ALL my sins, it should also include my sin of unbelief... Then why do some still end up in hell for the unbelief ? -JD
