It is ok for me to make a correction of my remark...no problem for me...but how easy is it to recant what has been described in this forum about the recent Harvest event as false and perhaps contributing to apostasy?
(Let's be reasonable and discuss issues having the right perspective of what is at stake.) One person is hurt now...because of my hasty remark. Yr nick is important to you...but how about a whole group of Churches...who are part of the Love Singapore Harvest...have you given some thot to them? Your desire to see purity of doctrines in the Church is a noble desire too (just like the Churches who wants to see Singapore saved.) Will there be an Ishmael in the making here too? As for the many church leaders stumbling their sheep which you has mentioned...can it be addressed with more precaution than foolhardiness? Some questions to consider before discussing about deceptions further will be : How many leaders do you, me or anyone here know of personally that are 'wolves' trying to destroy rather than build up the Church of God? To what extent is the stumbling??? Are the info obtained by you firsthand knowledge? Are you a Church leader yourself to be in the right standing (to understand the Churches' doctrinal issues and their import to church practices) before God to sound the warning about those you perceived to be 'wolves' among the leaders? Or could your perceptions be that they ( the leaders )are 'wolves' just because of some doctrinal differences and church practices (both which can fill many message boards i think.) that you personally do not agree with but are acceptable in some denominations. Should we proclaim them as 'wolves' to the others in the same Kingdom of God? Hope you consider what i'm saying without taking further offence. Shalom
