I will address MY stance. <It is ok for me to make a correction of my remark...no problem for me...but how easy is it to recant what has been described in this forum about the recent Harvest event as false and perhaps contributing to apostasy? > I have mentioned I make no judgements on yr S'pore event. All I did was to call for accoutability of those who have made public declarations in the name of the Lord to repent! Go and read Bernard Soh's thread(if this is true), the leaders have shown no accoutabiblty whatsoever! Woe be to them if thats the case! <One person is hurt now...because of my hasty remark. But if the stumbling of sheep to you is of low importance, then go to the passage where the Lord looks for even ONE which was lost. Please define 'precaution'. You should mention this to those who have proclaim in the name of the Lord before they did....precaution. < Some questions to consider before discussing about deceptions further will be : How many leaders do you, me or anyone here know of personally that are 'wolves' trying to destroy rather than build up the Church of God? To what extent is the stumbling??? Are the info obtained by you firsthand knowledge? Are you a Church leader yourself to be in the right standing (to understand the Churches' doctrinal issues and their import to church practices) before God to sound the warning about those you perceived to be 'wolves' among the leaders? > Good question. I will not know all the leaders(wolves). Only God does. My duty is to protect my sheep from them. I know them by their fruits and the doctrines which they bring. The extent of the stumbling is that the sheep ends up following the leader himself, worshipping an idol. Like I say, I know some who have imported extrabiblical doctrines into their teachings and evidenced in their lives and their churches. BTW the rules here i understand is that there will be no mentioning of names.Doctrinal declarations are nothing. The leaders can declare one thing and practice something else deceitfully. Am I a chruch leader? Does that matter? If God can use Balaam's Ass, surely He can use me for HIS Glory. prophet
