Yes, false prophets and apostles abound. Do you not suppose that there will also be false watchmen? If you say that we will know the voice of the watchmen, what makes you so certain we will also not know the voice of the prophet and the apostle? Isn't what's good for the goose also good for the gander? >
Did we claim to be above the truth? Look at my sentence again...'If they speak the truth'. You judge by God's Words, NOt our words! We do NOT claim to be infallable. I suggest that this thread has shown that the majority of the 'scoffers' have called for ACCOUNTABILITY from those in error. It is not to bring them down but to correct. HOWEVER, if those in error are NON REPENTANT, I say WOE TO THEM! If they repent, there is God's grace and forgiveness which will heal. Non Repentance only indicates the deceit hardening of the heart. Now, is that wrong? <People proclaiming to be watchmen need to identify themselves if they wish to 'expose' faults. Otherwise, ministries and ministers may be hurt or destroyed by "false watchmen" who label persons or organization as "false".We therefore require watchmen to provide their name, email address and telephone number and/or address as the minimum basis of their entries. I am certain that anyone who is so convicted to expose a false prophet will have no fear of providing their personal details> Why should speaking the Truth destroy a ministry if the ministry is ordained by the Lord. It can only bring correction and restoration. Now, if the watchman speaks God's Truth, people may be hurt because they are in error. Afterall, it is called the sword of the Spirit. Let me ask you, destroy a falsehood or let the falsehood destroy the sheep, which do you prefer? We are not here to expose 'FAULTS' but to ensure that the Faith that was delivered is maintained and not destroyed. We have no interest in destroying the persons but to bring down the false doctrines, YES. Now, if we speak the Truth, the leaders seeing will have to decide whether we speak the Truth or they are still in the Truth and we the false ones. Let them decide and let the sheep who see this decide as well.
