I agree with Chris.

The more you hold back [on going to church, on making friends]out of fear, the harder it will be to move on.

You have only 1 life. When things improve and you look back on the past, let it be one of joy and thanksgiving for the time of aloneness and growth GOD has provided, rather than regret that you had to spend that period alone. It is in quiet gardens that GOD does most of His planting.

PS. If you could tell me where you live, I could try to introduce you to someone attending a church in your area.

I will keep you prayer.
