Dear Rina, Hard on you...indeed, anyone in your situation will call out for help. The fact that you've done so via this channel already shows that you're facing up to your problems, and not running away from it.Good, that's very brave of you. You are unlike some others who may just run away from their problems.I praise you for being very brave, and pro-active in seeking help. I think, your pastor is right. The first person you should go to is GOD.RELY on God. Choose a quiet place, probably at home in your bedroom, close the door, and go to God in prayer. Bare it all out to God how you're feeling now, & ask God to take charge of the whole situation, and to minister to you & your parents.Pray also for your parents. After you've prayed, trust that God has a way for you. I understand that the urgency of your situation almost sends you to search around for another church, or another pastor, to assist you. BUT, Rina, beloved sis in Christ, GO TO GOD FIRST BEFORE YOU GO TO ANYONE-ELSE. WHO is better to approach first than our ALMIGHTY GOD? How can anyone( human beings) be equal to ALMIGHTY God? I believe that after you've sought God about your problems, He'll direct you accordingly. Even if you do receive any counseling from counsellors, don't think that it is human beings who are helping you. It is God who's helping you - God has His beautiful ways of working things, you see? It is GOD who works in them / uses them to assist you.AMEN. All glory be to Him alone. And that's why we, fellow siblings-in-Christ, respond to your call for help with a suggestion each being posted here. Amen, Praise God. I thank God that I come across your msg.It is GOD who works. There is a voluntary welfare organisation who specialises in handling eldercare issues.You may like to call & check?
