Thank you for sharing your walk with us.
We will uphold you in prayer. Do you have a name that we can use? You mentioned that you were once a Christian and have fallen, once in light and now in darkness, once a follower and now disobedient, and you are hurting. I wish for you to know that many are in the same plight. May of us have been lied to by the evil one and we have subscribed to his lies. We have been confused and hurt and lost by his spinning his lies at us. He is determined to convince you that Jesus no longer cares for you. He will continue to provoke rebellion in your soul and cause rejection and hurt to fester. And he is determined to whisper these lies into your mind and heart and cause you to move further and further away from God. Besides, he will echo in your mind condemnations that you are already unworthy of any redemption. Just stop for a moment and remember this. Jesus died on the cross for you and if He is able to say to the murderer who hung on the cross by His side "Today you are with me in paradise", will He not say the very same to you and me if we decide to turn around and give up our old ways. Jesus, you hear the heart cry of my friend here. And you say in your word "Taste and see that the LORD is Good". Father I pray that you grant my friend peace and joy and the conviction of returning to His caring arms. That he will be willing to allow you to remove his "shame" and "darkness" and receive from you your cloak of Rigtheousness. May he be a pleasing witness and testimony for you as he turns back from darkness to light. May those around him who know him for what he was before give you all Glory, Honor and Praise for your transformation of this friend of mine. That they too will see lasting Hope in you because of your marvellous work in his life. My friend, I bless you in Jesus' Mighty Name that you will not only be set free, but that you may enjoy the power of His Love and His Grace. Amen. Blessings
