Hello everybody. :)
i've resorted to posting a message here to get some advice on what i should do. i'm a Christian, but however, my family members believe otherwise. They are Buddhists, and i have been attending Church without my parents' approval. They know about me attending church, but i suppose they remained silent because they don't want to talk about it. To grow in my Christian faith, i know i should tell them about this, but how do i approach the topic? Religion is a pretty touchy subject, and my parents can be considered to be devout Buddhists who disapproves of my conversion to Christianity. My friend, claiming that the Bible has disillusioned her, does not want to return to Christianity again. I wish i knew the words to say to her to return to the Father, but it seems that nothing i say will change her mind. I wish i knew how to defend God and His Word, because she says it's untrue.. I know she has her reasons for saying that, but by saying that most Christians are looking for things to hold onto and are just living on blind faith is really too much! sigh. She wants to stay as an agnostic theist for the rest of her life, and i wish i could get her back on her feet, get her back as a Christian and hopefully remove her cynicism for the religion. it's really disheartening to hear about her insults for it. Thank goodness, it hasn't affected my beliefs yet. and assuredly, i say, nothing will. Please help me. or at least provide some advice that i could use :) thank you :) God bless.
