Dear Sister wearing a necklace with a cross does not 'marked' a person as a Christian anymore. This is something I discovered some years back. A friend whom I was trying to preach the gospel to, was wearing one. i was happy for her only to find out that she wore it so that Christians won't bother her with Christianity talks. In your case, this lady may or may not be a Christian. But like all religions, devotees are after all humans and still have faults. I am not perfect myself. Sometimes I get agitated easily and releases steam too fast without given much thought to it..thus hurting people in the process. Educations status does not mean that one is smart in English or understands what people are saying. Some education makes a person too arrogant and proud and thus ignore the general public who are not so educated. So much being said, I still do not know what she said to you that causes your hubby to be so 'heated' up. But I know one thing, a man cannot take it if someone(man or woman) says something degrading to his wife. She must have said something really really bad and insulting. Nonetheless, it is a Joy to God to know that you have forgiveness in your heart to forgive her for her malicious words. It is the first step in deliverance in God's eyes. i will pray for you..and for your hubby too. And also that God touch her to soften her words and think twice about saying hurtful words to others. If you have a heart to forgive her, then she will have a heart to apologized someday. God Bless Gina |
