God gave the kitten to me with a miracle healing from seizures. And for the next 2 months, he grew well and healthy. His fur shined so silky and he put on lots of weight. He was a joy to my family as little as he was. When I looked at him, constantly I was reminded to thank God for the miracle that God gave to him. Constantly I was remindered to seek God for everything else in my life through this kitten's life experience with God.
On the 3rd month of his life, I was asked by the vet to sent him for vaccination and that he was already overdued for it. I was assured by the vet that vaccinating him was harmless. The day before I brought him down for vaccination, my ex-neighbour told me that her cat had died due to a minor surgery done in that same clinic that I brought my kitten to. She warn me not to bring my kitten down to that same clinic. But I went in faith because God has used that same Vet during the time the kitten was suffering in seizures. I went in faith knowing that God would be in control of everything. After he recieved his vaccination, he died the next early morning about 6:30am. I woke up too late to help him. He had already gone and I brought him down to another clinic. The vet over there were professionals and they all told that for a kitten who had suffered seizures before, the kitten should not have been vaccinated as this can complicate matters and lead to death. They told me the right thing to do was once the kitten was bigger to sent him down for blood test and scanning to rule out all possibility of further seizures and then put vaccination as the last piority. But forwhatever reason, somehow, I went in faith and I had alreayd prayed over this before bringing the kitten down for vaccination. Thus, it is indeed God's will to take the kitten back home since God has been incharge right from the start. I thank God for the months of joy that I got from this kitten's life. I thank God for showing me that He does love animals and heal animals when we pray for them. I actually felt the Holy Spirit's concern over the kitten's life right from the start when I picked the kitten's up from the carpark. I thank God that through this kitten's life, a young lady I met at the same clinic was very open to Jesus Christ and even started praying to Him. I believe in her heart, she has already started accepting Christ as her Lord and Saviour because she prays to God in Christ name aswell. She has agreed to allow me to share with her the Bible more aswell over this 2 months of keeping intouch because of our cats. I thank God that through this kitten's life, my sister and another lady friend of my late-mom's, both were so encouraged by God's miracle healing given to the kitten. Both confessed that their believe in God's miracle work has increased and faith has risen. My mom's friend has 2 diabetic daughters who also have asthma, thyroid and kidney leaking. Her faith to depend on God has increased for her daughters. I thank God that throught his kitten's life, I had the opportunity to share with the vet that God was the one to heal the kitten since she wasn't using any medication on the kitten at all during the time of the seizures. I thank God that through this kitten, I was able to share about God's work openly over the net and some forums that people will know that God does love their beloved pets aswell and that we can pray for them. I thank God through this kitten's life that I have become so close and dependent on the Holy Spirit never like before but more stronger than ever. I thank God through this kitten's life that once again I've taken up reading of the word of God which I was not able to do faithfully since my marriage and my mom's death. I've learn so much about God ever since this kitten came into my life only because I went to God right from the start when the kitten joined our family. I thank God that through this kitten, I had met many grieving people who are grieving for their pets aswell over the net all over the world. I had the opportunity to share about my kitten's life to them. I thank God for what He has done for me and my family through this kitten's life and we know for sure that one day we will meet up with this kitten again when our time comes to leave this world and to be reunited in Heaven. I've prayed and God has shown me that it was His will that the kitten should leave and that it was the right and best thing according to God's will. Let God's name alone be glorified through this kitten's life and my life. Thank you Jesus Christ for watching over us.
