Practical love desperately needed

I have an appeal to make cause I have come to the end of the line of what to do. My sis and her family are caught up in deep financial problems due to the last economic downturn and the banks are planning to repossess her apartment and possibly make her bankrupt because the apartment will sell $300,000 less than when they bought it. If only they can hold the apartment for another year, when the property market goes up, they will be able to repay back. Unfortunately the banks cannot wait and want to repossess.
In the past few weeks, she has just started turning to the Lord but now things seem to get worse. I am praying they will not give up hope but do what is right. I guess I am also hoping that there would be someone out there who will be able to help buy up the place. My reasoning is that if christian business people who are so willing to invest in risky business, can they not invest in lives that will last?? I wish we could be like the days of Acts where people do not just look out for their own interest but those of one another. How much that would speak to the non-believers of the love of Christ, how much would that encourage one another!
