What Should I Do?

I'm a Christian and so is my boyfriend. However he has stopped going to church a couple of years ago. I prayed a lot about this relationship and I really want to bring him back to God through my prayers and my actions, I want to be an instrument of God's love and joy to him. However, recently i realised that me too was backsliding because of his lack of enthusiasm about sharing the faith. What should i do? On one hand, i love him a lot and want to bring him back to God, on the other, should i leave him because he is not "good" for me? Are there certain relationships that God blesses, and some that God doesn't approve? Can someone enlighten me?
