my good friend had the same issue as you a few years ago. Her boyfriend didn't exactly backslide, but he was not exactly a good influence in her walk with God...suffice to say her relationship with God suffered due to the relationship. Eventually, she decided to break up and let go of the relationship as she wants to make right with God...it was very painful...guess what??? God honored what she did...now, they are back together and both of them stronger in their faith and love for God. God molded the both of them when they were apart and brought them together again after He feels it is good. I do not know what exactly your situation might be...but i encourage you, sister...seek God and see what He wants...that is the best way! :) God bless you
