Good open communication is essential to keep us in touch with the reality of where we are at in our relationships. A lot of times, one or both parties in a relationship loses touch with what is happening with the other party because in the course of structured loving he or she forgot to listen and understand.

Learn to live harmoniously with God and you'll find that the peace and the presence of God will free you to understand others. God is always good in all these things we are so bad in.

It is quite obvious that she is confused about what she wants. (.. anyway so are a lot of us sometimes!) Having said that, it is important more that you help her to be open and share what is she thinking and what's on her mind. It is futile to ask her questions which she can not conceptualize the answers at this moment.

Now isn't helping one another grow what a true relationship is in the first place ? It doesn't matter if you are at this moment her recognized boyfriend or not.

Also think about having a relationship with the support of a community of brothers and sisters, because on your wedding day you'll need them to do praise and worship .. or something.
