Hi Sis,
As a guy, I feel that the gal should not be too forthright and direct about expressing ur affections towards a guy, cos normally guys feel that they should make the first move, so you may actually end up frightening the guy and also risk giving the impression that u r unladylike. Then again, it all depends on the character of the guy, some guys actually appreciate ur boldness and straightforwardness. However, to play it safe, I think it's good if can drop certain obvious hints to catch his attention as u know some guys can be really "blur" to this kind of stuff. Be as natural as possible. Dun appear to be too nervous. Just be yourself. Build a friendship with him. In this way, even if let's say he really has no interest in you, u can still remain good friends and he will not be threatened by ur approach. Yeah and finally keep on praying and God will show u the man of ur dreams.
