Hello "unknown"
Yes, I've read another write-up on this so-called Scientific Method (which still seems to be rather fuzzy around the edges) saying exactly the same thing, i.e. in real life scientists do not follow strictly any method in their work. I am interested in this topic because I was involved in another debate with an atheist (as well as an agnostic) on this scientific method. His contention is why do Christians believe in an entity which cannot prove itself scientifically. Anyway, it was quite a long and tiring debate, sometimes with arrows shooting both ways and missles in between, but both of us have hopefully learnt more abt this scientific method and whether it could really do what it was supposed to do. There are some inherent limitations in the scientific method, which I could vaguely grasp at when I first read about it, but which became more defined as our debate proceeded. Very interesting. -eveline
