I need some advice.

It very much depend on your level of faith and relationship with God. However, if you are not living as a hermit or you don't intend to live like an ostrich to ignore what is happending around you, then go ahead and do what your heart tell you what to do. If you are angry for an injustice done to a life, God is just, He will help you and strength to gether enough information to find out the truth of the whole matter.
Pray about it, if it is a righerous anger, God allows it. Doesn't Jesus angry at the temple? however, the legal proceeding is a long and painful process and costly too if you lose. Unless you know very sure that it is the negligence of the doctor and still have the courage to go through it, and to satisfy your conscience which is God given to fnd out the truth, why not? A pastor or a father will be in a difficult position to give you a sound advice. To sue or not to sue, is a legal matter that only through investigation and findings will be able to find out the truth not what a pastor/father whether he can tell you the truth. Ask for legal advise and decide whether to go ahead. After you have done your best, you will not let it bother and haunt you for the rest of your life.
