It is not wrong to sue ppl outside the body, provided it is not done for selfish motives.
I need some advice.

Sorry to hear about your situation.
I personally feel that it is not wrong to sue people outside the body of Christ. But it is certainly wrong to do that to a fellow brother/sister as according to 1 Corinthians. Paul appealed to Rome, not to sue against those that did him wrong by beating him unjustly before giving him a fair trial as all Roman citizens would be priveledged to, but he went to Rome to testify for the Lord and to spread the gospel. So, if your motives is to just to extract revenge on the negligent doctors, then it is done out of selfish motives and it is wrong. God has said that it is His to revenge, so we need to trust him though I know it is both painful and difficult to do so. If your sueing can do the good of spreading the gospel or doing good not for selfish motives, then by all means go ahead. Pray, read the Scriptures and fast about it, that God will show you the right way. I pray that God will enlighten you in your walk with him, and Good will come out of all this... c.fella
