Hullo Eveline, Generally, I can't say that I am impressed with the paper. I don't agree with Pascal that Reason cannot decide for God. Also we don't believe and worship God because of its utility. Ultimately saving faith is a gift from God. I think Pascal was a Roman Catholic, so it is quite understandable why he thinks Reason cannot decide for God. Reason is not part of their system. Theirs is Scriptures, Tradition and Church. No Reason. Conclusion: In my opinion, Pascal is not is the same class as Isaac Newton. Bye Bye:- |
