I believe the scriptures you are looking for can be found in Romans 12:3-8. Please take note that the functions/ministries mentioned in vv3-8 are not exhaustive as Paul was illustrating that each person has his/her own gifting/calling to serve the Lord and the body of Christ. Hope this would be of help to you.
