terror in the nite

For 16 mths or more , at 12 midnight to between 3 am , his terror of the nite will start - normally my husband is in a mentally unstable conditions - there was one occassion 2 wks ago the way he was vocalising - he seemed suicidal talked abt being such a useless person ( b'cos he's incompetent at work ) and he said goodbye - but did not take any action( normally he doesn't ) LaST NITE WAS the 1st nite I didn't want to sleep in the same room as him - wanted to draw him out into the public - his parents are living with us and are unawares of his emotionally abusive ways with me in private - he objected strongly to me sleeping on the living room sofa cos that will alert his parents that something is wrong - very wrong. whereas if he did the sAMe I never stopped him in fact welcomed it .
I broke down in my self control finally - I threw things on the wall - to dissipate the sheer anger & frustrations in tolerating with this person. Becos every nite he would attack me emotionally - saying that I'm more than 100% to be blamed for his depression , woes whatever -blah , blah , blah.
His parents are father - alcoholic & smoker - mother - spouse of an alcoholic and prone to anxiety attacks & panic attacks - & being the dysfunctional family that they are - didn;t want to know what was wrong , what was the matter etc etc
I just can't believe that when familyies are emotionally abusive there is no way out for us the victims ? only if there is physical abuse ?
Is that true - is it correct - I have totally no options - I'm told - can't separate - can't divorce as a Christian?
