Dear Mary, I'm really glad that you have spoken up thru this forum to share your plight instead of suffering in silence. From the responses you have received, especially the moving testimony by Lil, you can see that God is very much at work in your life and has shown His love for you thru these people who obviuosly care for you and love you as a sister. Just before sending this message I too have joined in praying for you and have been moved to share these verses from the Holy Bible for you:

1. God's Inseparable Love for You and His Grace - "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?...No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 8:35~39

"We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even of life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. but this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead." - 2 Corinthians 1:8~9

2. Why You Should Not Divorce Your Husband - "And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife." - 1 Corinthians 7:13~14

Mary, I hope these verses will further reinforce your faith in God in delivering you from your situation and to give you strength. You are precious in His sight and if you reach out to Him in earnest, He will never abandon you but lift you up from your situation and give you the resilience.

With all of God's blessings and eternal love,

KL Tan
