that Scripture is biased? To a certain extent, the Bible is 'bias' because God has His holy expectation and He thus demand His creatures to uphold them in faith. When we do things that is in contrary to His Word, and get convicted by the Bible, we complained. I left the Catholic Church simply because her teachings are not based firmly upon the Bible, nor its doctrine approved by the Bible and her practice not originated from the Bible to a certain extent. Overall, for a non-believer's point of view, Christianity seemed to include Catholicism and there are slight differences. But for a Bible-believing Christian, the differences is vast. The 'honouring' of the Blessed Virgin Mary is no where found in the Scriptures and the later developements of Maria dogmas is also not Bible-based! The repetitive chanting of the 'Hail Marys' and the 'Lord's Prayer' is not taught in the Bible, instead it is being introduced after several so-called apparitions by this 'Mary' that the Rosary devotions started off. Before accepting such doctrines, we need to refer to the Word of God because God will never never teach us new doctrines when it is not in the Bible. The Bible is all we need to know and is sufficient for us to know the Way to Salvation. The devotions of Brown Scapulars, Green Scapulars, Miraculous Medals, Immaculate Heart etc..are in fact apparitions NOT from God, why i say that? The reason is this, God will never send someone to reveal things that are in contradiction, confusing and undermine the work of Christ on the cross. He can speak to us through the Holy Spirit and personally, through people around us (provided their message is sound). If you read the Messages deliverd to us by 'Mary', you will discover that her saying is blasphemous. By asking the world to devote themselves to her Immaculate Heart so that people will come to know God is not a Bible teaching. To God the Father, through Christ the Son is all the Bible teach. No more Co-Mediatrix, no more Mary as the Advocate. Jesus is all we need. There are more discussion...hope that you will think it through and ask God about it. Peace be with you!
