The following is a true albeit sad story that has shattered the joy, happiness, freedom, and the very life of Tong Suan. Tong Suan was the eldest son of Mr & Mrs Pang. He was a filial son. Well-loved, cheerful, energetic and optimistic in life. He was about to graduate from varsity before tragedy struck. It was supposed to be another happy gathering for students during their vacation break, however, that particular trip had changed his life totally. To cut the story short, Tong Suan was involved in a tragic accident where he was rendered paralysed waist-down and had to be bedriddened. His studies was abruptly terminated. His freedom in movement was curtailed. His cheerfulness, joy and enthusiasm in life was suddenly changed into sorrow, bitterness, anger, hatred, and self-pity. His dreams, hopes and life were literally shattered. Initially, friends and schoolmates visited him and eventually through the passage of time, their appearances becomes rare. Nowadays, hardly any of his friends visited Tong Suan, partly because Tong Suan was unwilling to receive them in his present state. Moreover, he chose to retreat into his own world, keep to himself and wallow in self-pity. His family and siblings have done their very best to cheer him up but to no avail. Please help to pray for Tong Suan, his parents and other siblings. They are helpless. They need the ray of hope. The primary concern is that the Pang's family are non-believers. Prior to the accident, Tong Suan was not insured at all and thus financially, the family was burdened with heavy medical bills. Physically and psychologically, the family members are drained of their energy to cheer Tong Suan up. Tong Suan's misfortune has since been kept to the family themselves. The Senior Pang, also do not want others to know about this. This sad story was only related to me by Mrs Pang as my family had recently becomes their neighbour living in the same block of flat. I have assured Mrs Pang to keep this from Senior Pang and Tong Suan. Tong Suan is about 26 to 27 years old. For the time being, I shall not disclose his address and contact number and seek your concerted prayers for Tong Suan's well-being and his family's salvation. Maybe, those who are his contemporaries can relate to him better, I suppose! Please also pray for wisdom for his family members and also for the Grace of God and the redeeming works of the Holy Spirit to work wonders in this family. In the meantime, your suggestions and contributions to render help to this family are always welcome. You can email Daniel at goldtec2@mbox3.singnet.com.sg or page him at 92607377. May God bless and continue to uphold the Pang family. Amen! |
