Renouncing Roman Catholicism

Before I get to believe in Jesus of the Bible, I am wandering among the Catholic Church. I attended Mass almost everyday and was so eager to receive the Communion wafer believing it to be the ACTUAL body anf blood of Christ. The doctrine of transubstantiation was always real to me. I indulge in idolatry, kneeling before statues of "Mary" with different names like Mother of Perpetual Help, Our Lady of Fatiman, Our Lady of Lourdes, Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary and so on...I recite Hail Marys and novenas to my favourite saint. I wore the miraculous medals and Scapulars thinking that such objects will bless and protect me.Life goes on like this..it is only when i read the bible intensely and compare what i did in RC Church and what the bible teaches. To my horror, there are vast differences between the Church of Rome and the Scripture!!! I continue to stay in the Catholic for fear that by leaving the Church, I will lose my salvation and will be in purgatory after i die. Thanks be to God that His truth has been revealed to me and this truth has set me free indeed! Hallejuah! JOHN 14:6 << Jesus said," I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." Jesus is the only way to God in heaven , NOTHING CAN REPLACE THIS. Church, rituals and objects cannot do this and therefore i made up my mind in leaving the Roman Catholic Church. Life from then on is full of freedom and true joy. I am no longer bounded by the RC Church's rules and live under the Authority of the Holy Bible, that gives freedom! Remember, there is no other way to gain salvation ONLY through Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah! God bless you!
