Renouncing Roman Catholicism (Gabriel)

I am a Roman Catholic. I was a convert to Roman Catholicism, after 12 years of deliberation. To Brother Gabriel, I have no wish to start a debate regarding the truth-or-falseness of Roman Catholicism and Protestanism.
I would just like to tell you that I'm glad you are enjoying a relationship with God once again. I am so happy for you ! What's most important is that you lead a Spirit-filled life! Yes, indeed I couldn't agree more that there is salvation ONLY through Christ. Only GOD is saviour and to Him is all the worship and adoration. The Catholic Church believes this wholeheartedly. I would just like to clarify that while the Church believes in the TRUE presence of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Holy Eucharist (Doctrine of Transubstantiation), it has NEVER claimed that religious items can earn us salvation. All the novenas and devotions to Saints are an exercise of our belief in the Communion of Saints, in heaven and on earth. The sole purpose of doing all these, is to lead us CLOSER to JESUS. if it does not make us grow closer to Jesus, then all the devotions are no point.
