What do I need to to do to use these Bible books:

  1. To unpack the books, you will need an unzipping utility. If you using a Windows PC, download a copy of WinZip or PKZip. If you are using a Macintosh, get a copy of Stuff It, ZipIt or UnZip. Install this on your PC or MAC.
  2. To read the bible books, you will need a Pilot DOC Reader application. Download a copy of AportisDoc (Basic Reader is FREE) or TealDoc. Unzipp it and install it on your pilot via the PalmPilot Install (Desktop 1.x and 2.x) or installer (Desktop 3.x), then HotSync. Your Pilot will have a new icon labelled AportisDOC OR TealDOC.
  3. Down the desired books by clicking the links above. Then use the unpacking utility to unzip it/them. Each zip file contains one or more .prc/.pdb files. Install these .prc/.pdb files the same way you install the Doc Reader earlier. You will then find these books listed under the DOC application when you tap the icon.
  4. Here are some Tips on using and searching these books.
