In 1977, she committed her life to the Lord. In response to the call, she joined the All-Africa School of Theology, a tract distribution group and later became involved their ministry.

In 1980, she joined Christ for all Nations as the head of women’s ministry. Until 1996, she has been a part of the team as a close co-worker with Reinhard Bonnke and later being his associate evangelist. Twelve of those years she served as head of the intercession department and played a major part in crusade preparation as well as general ministry.

In 1984, she focused her ministry almost exclusively on prayer. From that time, she was responsible for all prayer preparation for the Reinhard Bonnke mission. Many of the miracles of salvation and healing witnessed at these meetings can be directly attributed to the prayer effort of Suzette and her team.

With a tremendous burden for the lost and especially the "brokenhearted" and a strong call from the Lord to concentrate on cities and local communities with a servanthood ministry, Suzette founded a mission organisation "Voice in the City" on January 1, 1997.
