This is a 6-session course organised by the Children and Families Ministries (CHIFAM) of Scripture Union. The Master's Workshop (Intermediate Level) was conducted in March/April 1997. The Advanced Level is useful to those with some teaching experiences especially departmental heads and superintendents.* The course will engage participants in exploring the implications of new trends and issues which affect children in their learning process. There will also be sessions on practical skills to equip participants further in their teaching ministry to impact and change young lives for Jesus.
* Attendance of Intermediate Level preferred but not compulsory.

Dr Allan Harkness
Allan Harkness (PhD. in Christian Education from Murdoch Univ. Australia) teaches at the Trinity Theological College. He was previously Bible Ministries' staff with SU New Zealand before coming to Singapore under OMF International. He has also taught at the Discipleship Training Centre. His PhD. dissertation is in the area of inter-generational learning strategies in local churches.
Ms Koh Siang Kiang
She is currently teaching at the Baptist Theological Seminary while pursuing a Doctor of Ministry programme at Dallas Theological Seminary. She was the Christian Education Director of Grace Baptist Church for many years.
Mr David Leong
David is the Executive Director of Scripture Union Singapore. He holds a Master of Christian Studies degree from Regent College, Vancouver. He enjoys a viable ministry among children, youths and families and also in preparing teachers for their ministry.
Ms Edna Low
She is Scripture Union's Children and Families Ministries (CHIFAM) staff. Edna enjoys working with children and has been ministering to children in different settings.
