- To encourage, facilitate, motivate, and lead Great Commission Christian to reach the Kejia (Hakka) people in China with the Gospel of Jesus Christ resulting in the planting of indigenous churches.
- Our objective is to be the champion for the Kejia people in China that they will have opportunities to see, hear, read, and study the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to accept Him as their God and Savior, resulting in an indigenous church planting movement.
- Our goals are to enlist 100 individuals as prayer partners for the ministries focusing on Kejia people.
- To enlist Sunday School classes, mission study groups and churches to adopt Kejia people.
- To enlist overseas Kejia Christians in South-East Asian countries to be representatives or advocators for the Kejia people.
- To mobilize and encourage Kejia Christians working in China especially in Kejia areas to live evangelistic lifestyle.
- To mobilize overseas Chinese Christians and churches to actively participate in evangelistic mission trips among the Kejia people.
- To work with Chinese-speaking churches to train and equip local Kejia Christians to serve as lay people.
- To challenge overseas Kejia Christians and churches to support training of indigenous lay workers.
- To start and maintain 20 Bible study groups and 10 indigenous churches.
Services:
In areas where Kejia people live and work. There are 80 million spread over 17 provinces, 230 prefectures and cities in China. A high percentage of the Kejia population is concentrated in the North-East of Guangdong province in the region of Meixian, Xingning, Wuhua and Pingyuan area. They are also in Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Sichuan, Hunan, and Henan provinces, and Hainan Island.
Ministry Needs:
Present statistics show about 150,111 Kejia Christians in China which amount to less than 1%. There are several churches, mostly located in cities. Because of historical and cultural conservatism, Kejia people are considered closed communities and resistant to the Gospel.
- Pray for the Kejia people that the Holy Spirit will prepare their hearts for the Gospel.
- Pray that God will encourage and challenge the small number of Kejia Christians to be bold witnesses for the Lord.
- Ask the Lord to call overseas Kejia Christians to work among their own kinsmen.
- Ask the Lord to raise up strong local Christians to be leaders of the church planting movement among the Kejia people.
